Due to Brexit, European Pi (π) marked ISO 9809 cylinders may no longer be placed on the market in Great Britain beginning January 1, 2023. All ADR cylinders imported into and manufactured for use in the Great Britain market will now require approval from a UK Appointed Body. These cylinders will require a Rho (ρ) mark and the UK Appointed Body’s approval number stamped in conjunction with the ADR/ISO 9809 marking.
