Norris Cylinder is committed to meeting and exceeding the requirements of our internal and external customers as well as all applicable regulatory requirements. Our Management and staff strive to continuously improve the effectiveness of our Management System and to fulfill our Quality, Environmental, and Safety Objectives. Objectives are established for key areas of our manufacturing and business processes, and they are continuously monitored for improvement. Moreover, we are committed not only to complying with environmental and safety regulations and legislation but also to prevent pollution and the prevention of injury and ill health that may result from our processes.
Safety Improvement Task Force
A core value of Norris Cylinder Company is the safety and health of our employees. A way we exemplify this value is through our internal Safety Improvement Task Force. The team includes 33 Norris employees from the Longview, TX and Huntsville, AL locations. We conduct monthly audits focusing on 61 safety items ranging from material handling to fire protection to work area conditions to safety behaviors. The task force also meets once a month to discuss the findings from these audits as well as any other safety topics that arise. With a goal of ZERO Accidents, the Safety Improvement Task Force is just one way Norris Cylinder ensures a safe workplace.
